Mt. Olive Baptist Church is pleased to present the first annual......
March 31, 2012
Cross Country Miles is a race that will spare you the monotonous trudge of running on concrete and asphalt and give you a scenic view, while presenting cross-country challenges. A country mile of course is longer than a regular mile, this race is a little longer than 2 miles. While this race isn't 5k, the natural running surface and variations in the course path will test your muscle stamina.
All participants will receive an event T-Shirt, jambalaya, water, and sports drink after the race. Trophies will be awarded for the fastest three adults and the fastest kid 12 or under. As well all participants are eligible to find prizes along the trail as they run (details will be disclosed before the event).
